Hey, it took a while but I FINALLY got outside to snap some pics of the LV in its full autumnal beauty. Here's a sample, I'll try to get more up as soon as I can. (See Next Post)
Okay, here's a sample of what I was able to get last Saturday down at Cedar Beach and the Rose Garden in Allentown, PA.
I'm feeling damn near prescient right now about the whole "history in the making" comment in my last post. I'd like to pause and say, "nice job" to the Red Sox.
Look, if you love America, you watch playoff baseball regardless of if your team made it or not. Sure, other sports might be faster and even more entertaining but there's nothing more suspenseful as extra innings baseball and the Red Sox and Yankess have supplied plenty of "bonus" baseball in the last two days. I've lost countless hours of productivity watching a total of eight "extra" innings in the last two days but I don't regret it ... I feel as though I'm watching history-in-the-making and that I'll look back on these games nostalgically in years to come.
I don't even like the AL and I plan to root against them in the World Series but there's no mistaking it, the Boston vs. NY rivalry IS the best rivalry in sports today.
Disagree? What do YOU think is the best rivalry in sports right now?
Well, tonight I totally "wasted" a free evening. It was refreshing. While I feel it was somewhat fruitless, I'm feeling reinvigorated and ready to tackle work tomorrow and other projects as well. I even got my camera out for the second day in a row!
I snapped a couple shots in my room tonight and my watch seemed to be calling for a shot, so I used it. The original was a decent shot but I wanted to do something with it. Photoshop will do that to ya ... I always want to "play" with a shot regardless of how good or bad it is right from the camera.
Okay, James Spader and William Shatner might be my new idols. On tonight's show, Spader and a female coworker are having a heated discussion ... the coworker suddenly walks away after Spader's typically witty banter leaves her speachless ... Spader's line "oh, yes, maybe that witty comeback you're looking for is back in your office" hahaha ... I can be that guy ... I LIKE to be that guy ... how does that guy NOT get beat up AND get all the hot chicks? Must be the I'm-a-lawyer-so-you-go-to-jail-free card combined with the I've-got-tons-of-money-and-power card ... that's too cool.
Whew, I finally got to launch the new More Performance, Inc. website today ... DNS changes are still populating so be patient if it still directs you to the old site for a couple hours yet.
I also took down the old languorous.com ... I know, I know, a sad day ... it was my first fairly professional site and I liked it a lot ... I'll probably keep it up somewhere but I don't know where yet. It just wasn't "professional" enough anymore. In it's place is just a new splash page because I am still undecided on a design concept. Feel free to check it out if you want.
okay people, I'm gonna let you in on a little secret that will be LOTS of fun for you. Below is a link to a video about a ghost in a car commercial. Here's what you do ... tell someone to sit down at your computer and tell him you found this video online of a car commercial. It was never aired because the film crew was so freaked out by a ghost showing up out of the woods and following along with the car. After a couple seconds of video, the apparition appears as this white mist from behind the trees and it paces the car as it drives down the road. It's kinda hard to see so you might want to have them look closely. Enjoy! :-)
