baseball is in the air

I had my camera in the car with me yesterday in hopes that I would be able to get out of work in the mid-afternoon to go out and shoot some fall scenes. Unfortunately, I suffered another sinus-induced migraine and I was unable to get out while the sun was still in the sky. SO, I still wanted to take some shots and I was inspired by the MLB playoffs so I just messed around in my room a little bit with my baseball glove. The session was not really about getting a professional-quality photo, rather, to get more acquainted with my camera and shooting techniques. While I liked a couple shots I had taken, I wanted something a bit different so I played around in Photoshop as well. I'm pretty happy with it. What to you think?

Too bad about the Braves, I was pulling for them too.

Great shot! Very good PS work, too.

not your typical sepia-toned baseball pic.

I like it very much. Does Photoshop give you the ability to do solarization? That's what the quality of the photo reminds me of.

I LOVE IT... I am looking for wall space right now to print it and hang it.
