Sigourney Weaver and Alan Rickman only qualify as face-people? Alright...

Anyway, I'm going to be a spoilsport and throw my weight behind the heavyweight in the field, the granddaddy of them all, Airplane. They just don't get any better than that. Pure silliness on a grand scale, executed with perfect skill.

And don't call me Shirley.

Runner-Up honors go to the Naked Gun series. I don't think it coincidental that Leslie Nielsen appears in both my choices.

The best movie spoof ever is Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery. Mike Myers decided to spoof the forty-year James Bond series and did a hell of a job of it. (Much more entertaining than Roger Moore!)

Unfortunately, it was so good that Myers was compelled to do a second and third installment. If he would have stopped after the first one, and MAYBE after "Spy Who Shagged Me" (gotta love Fat Bastard and Heather Graham), the phenomena wouldn't have gotten overdone so quickly (thank you, fucking teenie-boppers).

Where's the love for the Brits? Monty Python and the Holy Grail has got to be up there!
