___trip

I had the luxury of catching Eurotrip (for something like the fourth or fifth time) on HBO as I ate lunch on Saturday. I don't know what it is but that movie cracks me up every time. It's not the greatest movie I've ever seen or anything but it's certainly funnier than I expected. Maybe it's because I had such low expectations going in, I don't know.

It got me thinking about another movie that I also found surpisingly funny, Road Trip. Like Eurotrip, it's not even a movie I saw in the theater. I don't even remember the first time I saw it (I've probably seen that four or five times too) but I probably just caught it one night on HBO and couldn't turn it off.

SO, faithful pollsters, here's a more-challenging-than-usual poll ... what are your two favorite movies that share a common word in the title (and, no, words like "the" don't count)? If you're completely stuck, you can use sequels but, to me, that's as bad as when rappers "rhyme" by using the SAME WORD at the end of EVERY line.

If my mind didn't happen to wonder around connecting the two on it's own, I might have a hard time with this one so, good luck, I'm thinking you'll need it.

Not as difficult as you might think -
1. Pushing TIN - John Cusack, Billy Bob Thornton - deals with air traffic controllers - very funny
2. TIN Cup - One of my all time favorites - Kevin Costner
3. A Long KISS Goodnight - Geena Davis is an assassin who loses her memory also starring Samuel L. Jackson
4. KISS The Girls - Ashley Judd, Morgan Freeman - Drama
5. The NATURAL - One of my all time favorite movies
6. NATURAL Born Killers - maybe the only Oliver Stone movie that I liked.

Those came right to me, I am sure there are more but I will have to think about it.

Ok.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind-Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet...awesome.
A Beautiful Mind-Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, brilliant.

Hotel Rwanda-Don Cheadle, some other people. Great great movie.
Hotel New Hampshire-Dont ask, really old, Rob Lowe and Jodie Foster were in it. It's strange and crazy, but Gena and I watched it long ago. It brings back memories of when life was carefree and easy :)

Thats all I have for now.

Ooh, got it.

Requiem for a Dream
What Dreams May Come

I am counting it, though knowing you, I fear you may argue that Dreams is plural in the second title :)

Nah, no argument here ... any form of the word will do, nice job.

Nine Months- Hugh Grant and Julianne Moore pair up in a very early romantic comedy for the both of them

The Whole Nine Yards- Bruce Willis, Matthew Perry are in this weird/comic mobster film.

Nine to Five- Dolly Parton is in it and I've seen random clips on tbs when I was younger. I believe its an early eighties film.

Ha, these are supposed to be your favorite movies that share all of or part of a title ... I don't think "random clips" qualify :-)
