I'm in the process of getting some more web-related work, developing a PHP and MYSQL cataloging system for an existing website, working part-time as a system administrator, nursing a fractured / sprained ankle, dealing with hospitals and health insurance issues and trying to stay on top of my mail which has gotten out of control lately.
On a slightly related note, I was reminded of my past yesterday and now I'm a bit sentimental over my days in middle school.
I'd go back if I could, would you?

Posted by: Robb at July 14, 2004 01:00 PMThanks for pointing it our Rarb. See, now I'm not the only one that notices it, Tom. Aside from Tom's whining I would have to agree with him. Middle school was so care free. Well, I suppose that it is, but only relative to today. Back then there were lots of worries: girls, fun, girls and more girls. Middle school was filled of flirting and dating, at least for me. That meant of a lot of cares. Plus you can't drive in middle school (unless your name is Jose Rodriguez) which I could not bear to do again. (and no that was not a racist comment nor a general name. He was seriously in my 7th grade class at the ripe young age of 17.) Combine not driving with trying to date all the chicks possible and it was not an easy or "care-free" time for me at all. However, knowing that the rest of life involves maturity and responsibility (two of my least favorite ideas in all the world) I would definitely choose to go back!!
Posted by: Berg at July 14, 2004 02:35 PMNot whining, stating facts. It was to emphasize that even though I'm actually pretty busy right now, my mind occasionally takes short trips to visit certain memories (pleasant and not so pleasant).
I wish more people let their mind wander every now and then. There is no substitution for retrospection as a way of better understanding yourself.
